Business Analyst (Cognos Reporting)

Dublin city centre based - hybrid working. Day rate contract, 3-6 months Large scale client project. We're working with a leading consultancy to appoint an experienced Business Analyst with strong IBM Cognos Controller expertise to support a major finance transformation programme.

• Review current consolidation and reporting processes and help define improved future state ways of working.
• Facilitate discussions with Finance stakeholders to capture statutory, regulatory and IFRS reporting needs.
• Provide specialist input on IBM Cognos Controller to support solution design and enhancement activity.
• Map key data movements, system interfaces and reconciliation points across the reporting process.
• Contribute to testing activities by checking outputs and supporting resolution of issues.

• Hands on experience with IBM Cognos Controller in a business analysis, finance systems or transformation setting.
• Solid understanding of group consolidation, intercompany activity and financial reporting structures.
• Background in finance change or reporting environments, ideally within a complex organisation.
• Strong ability to work with Finance, Technology and external partners to gather and refine requirements.
• Confident producing clear documentation and supporting workshops and delivery discussions.
