Business Analyst (Cost Transformation)

Rate: £450 per day
Location: UK (Occasional site visit - Warwickshire)
Contract: Initial 3 months (extension likely)
IR35 Status: Outside

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major cost transformation programme within IT and the wider UK business.

You will play a key role in shaping and accelerating 10-12 high-impact transformation initiatives, helping move them from early-stage ideas through to business case and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across multiple transformation projects to:
  • Define scope and objectives
  • Identify and evaluate options
  • Support cost modelling and benefits analysis
• Develop clear, structured business cases
• Engage with stakeholders across IT and business teams
• Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans
• Help accelerate initiatives into execution

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in transformation or change programmes
• Direct experience working on cost transformation projects
• Strong background in cost optimisation, efficiency, or savings initiatives
• Experience building business cases and financial justification
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in ambiguous, early-stage environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset
