We are supporting an insurer on a claims platform integration and build programme and are looking for a Business Architect to act as the key bridge between business and technology. This role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering claims system and process integration, ensuring that Target Operating Model (TOM) principles are translated into clear, buildable functional requirements. Deep claims expertise is essential.
The platform is being built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, so strong functional and configuration knowledge is required. You will work closely with the Solution Architect and Business Analysts to provide clarity across claims processes, MI requirements, and integration touchpoints. Lead Business Analysts with experience in architecture design will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating claims processes and TOM into clear functional requirements
- Define end-to-end claims flows, including control points, MI requirements, and integration touchpoints
- Support the design and build of the D365 claims platform, ensuring a configuration-first approach
- Work closely with the Solution Architect and BA team to shape requirements, user stories, and solution design
- Provide input into integration design, ensuring alignment across systems and overall platform architecture
Requirements:
- Strong claims domain experience within insurance, with end-to-end understanding of claims processes
- Experience working on claims transformation or platform integration programmes
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, including configuration and functional design
- Background as a Business Analyst or similar, with progression into architecture/business architecture responsibilities
- Proven ability to translate TOM and business requirements into functional design, working closely with BAs and technical teams
