Company Name : Nesbou Development Ltd Job Title : Cement Finisher (NOC 73100) Office Location : 117 E 15TH ST 226 NORTH VANCOUVER, BC V7L 2P7 Work Location : Different construction sites in Lower Mainland Vacancies : 2 positions available (Full time and permanent) Anticipation Date : As soon as possible Wage : $37.10 per hour (40 hours per week) Job requirements Languages No specific language requirement Education Secondary (high) school certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads Work Location Information Various locations Personal Suitability Reliable, flexible, team player Specific Skills Inspect formwork, base materials, and steel reinforcement before pouring concrete, and guide the placement of concrete to meet required levels and grades Fill low areas and remove excess concrete to create a smooth surface Use power vibrators to properly compact the concrete Level and finish the top surface according to specified depth and grade using tools like straightedges and floats Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures into freshly poured concrete Apply curing, hardening, and sealing compounds to protect and strengthen the concrete Perform waterproofing and damp-proofing on concrete surfaces Repair, resurface, or replace damaged or worn concrete in floors, walls, roads, and other structures How to apply By email
