Operator I, Production "Chemical Operator" Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated
Operator I, Production to join our chemical manufacturing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. In this role, you will support the safe production, handling, and packaging of chemical products while following strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Chemical Production & Handling - Operate production equipment used to blend, transfer, and process chemical products
- Safely handle raw chemical materials in accordance with established procedures
- Measure and add ingredients according to batch instructions
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance
Batching & Documentation - Follow batch sheets, formulas, and production instructions
- Accurately record production data and complete batch documentation
- Ensure proper labeling and product identification
Equipment Operation - Operate pumps, valves, mixers, and other production machinery
- Perform basic equipment checks and assist with minor troubleshooting
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient production areas
Material Handling - Move raw materials and finished products using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Stage materials for upcoming production runs
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment
Quality & Safety - Follow OSHA regulations and plant safety policies
- Properly use PPE and handle chemicals according to safety guidelines
- Work closely with Quality Control to ensure products meet specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment
- Ability to read and follow batch instructions and procedures
- Comfort working around chemicals in an industrial environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based production setting
Physical & Work Environment - Standing for extended periods
- Lifting materials frequently (often 50 lbs or more)
- Working around chemical odors and industrial machinery
- Manufacturing environment with shift-based operations

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
