Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Chemist - II (Associate) for an Onsite position with a 12+ month contract located in North Wales, PA or West Point, PA. Responsibilities: Support analytical techniques within vaccine process development and GMP laboratories Key duties include chemical labeling of biological samples, performing HPLC separations, and analyzing data Prepare buffers and solutions, aliquot material, inventory laboratory supplies, pack columns, and perform equipment cleaning Handle system setup, sterilization, and sampling Document all laboratory activities electronically, with data entry into relevant databases Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform minor repairs as required Maintain a clean, orderly, inspection-ready, and safe work environment by following all safe laboratory practices Utilize multiple separation and biochemical analysis methods including capillary electrophoresis techniques and two-dimensional separation methods Requirements: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a closely related field 3 years of hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical / medical technology industry Knowledge and experience utilizing Empower Experience analyzing therapeutic proteins using a range of UPLC and HPLC techniques, including ion exchange chromatography (IEX), size exclusion chromatography (SEC), hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC), and reversed-phase chromatography (RP) One to two years of hands-on wet laboratory experience and experience in chromatography techniques Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Effective organizational, multi-tasking, with evidence of strong cross-functional collaboration skills Desired skills: Prior experience with cGMP or cGLP practices and using electronic lab notebooks is preferred Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred Pay range: up to $35.34 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
