Salary Range: $35 to $40 per hour

Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating weekends

Duration: Full-time, expected hours: 40 per week

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join our team in Sylmar, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 2 years of CLS experience and is committed to providing high-quality laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Adhere to safety and quality control standards in all laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results.
• Document and report discrepancies or abnormal results promptly.
• Participate in training and mentoring of laboratory staff as needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist (preferred).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certificate or diploma in Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a religious exemption letter.
• Strong laboratory experience and understanding of laboratory protocols.
