Cloud Data Engineer/Platform Engineer/DataOps Lead-SC Cleared

Must have current Security Clearance

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Contract 12 months + with possible extensions- Inside IR35 contract

Core Technical Skills

• Cloud Platform Engineering with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and automation

• AWS-native and Azure cloud-native solutions, supporting hybrid and multi-cloud environments

• DataOps practices, including CI/CD for data pipelines, automated testing, and operational monitoring

• Job scheduling & orchestration, including upgrade and modernization of Legacy schedulers

• Monitoring & observability using tools like Dynatrace for performance, reliability, and cost optimization

• Cloud upgrade & migration paths, enabling smooth transition to modern data platforms

• Platform engineering best practices, including security, governance, and IAM design

Technologies & Tools:

AWS, Azure, ADF, Synapse, ADLS, Glue, S3, IAM, Monitoring & Scheduling, DataOps
