Compensation & Schedule
- $28.00 to $36.00 per hour, based on experience and skillset
- 4-day workweek (Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts) Flexible Schedule can be discussed in interview
- 7 paid holidays
- Attendance bonus
- Safety shoe reimbursement up to $75
Job Function:
- Create, update, and maintain CNC programs for multiple machines, including complex 3D toolpaths.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, models, and job specifications to develop machining programs.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performance.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and adjust programs and machine setups to resolve machining issues.
- Work closely with toolmakers and production personnel to improve efficiency and manufacturability.
- Complete required documentation, including setup sheets and program records.
- Comply with, and uphold all occupational safety policies, food safety policies, and work rules.
Basic requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CAM software programs and CNC programming.
- Experience with 3D machining and programming.
- Hands-on experience with CNC setup and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
- Ability to recognize quality and maintain tight tolerances.
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with team members.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to complete documentation and reports using computer applications.
- Mathematical ability including basic arithmetic, geometry, and trigonometry.
