The RoleDue to continued success, our client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner - Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will work across a varied range of materials and components in a fast-paced subcontracting environment.Key responsibilities include:Sub-contract precision engineering across mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminium, and plasticProgramming, setting, and operating Fanuc & Manual Guide CNC multi-axis lathesManufacturing quantities ranging from prototypes through to medium batch runsInspecting your own work to ensure quality standards are metMaintaining a clean and organised workstation

The Ideal CandidateMinimum 5 years' industry experience in a subcontracting environment, with familiarity of frequent daily job changesStrong programming experience on CNC multi-axis lathes (Fanuc & Manual Guide)Experience operating CNC lathes with a bar feed systemAbility to change and reset machines multiple times per day, independentlyHigh attention to detail - capable of detailed deburring and conducting first-off inspections using verniers, thread gauges, micrometres, and similar equipmentDemonstrates reliability, proactivity, and loyaltyOrganised and able to multitask, managing two machines simultaneously

Salary & PackageSalary: Up to £43,000 depending on skill level, plus overtime at 1.5x and profit-related bonusFull pay review after 3 months with increase based on abilityAnnual salary reviewsAnnual bonus potential (based on individual performance and company profit)3% contributory workplace pension32 days annual leave including bank holidays, with option to purchase up to 1 additional week per yearSick pay after 2 years' serviceOn-site and external training and development

HoursFull time, Permanent - 4 days per weekMonday to Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm (40 hours)
