Role Title: Collateral Management Lead
Location: London (Hybrid)
Duration: Until 15/10/2026
Work setup: 4 days onsite/week
Pay Rate: £492 per day through FCSA Umbrella
 

Role Description:
Collateral Management Operations Team, responsible for the daily, processing, agreement and settlement of margin calls to mitigate the Group's credit risk exposure.
To provide specialist technical, analytical and transaction management support to key stake holders and business partners
Dispute Management, including Regulatory reporting.
Ownership of collateral, supporting and coordinating with MO teams involved in the end-to-end collateral journey to ensure seamless delivery for our clients.
Act as central point of contact for collateral ensuring queries are dealt with on a timely basis.
Identify and deliver Continuous Improvement opportunities to increase efficiency of processes, and reduce risk
Trusted partner for counterparties and internal and external stakeholders
Technical knowledge of the post trade landscape, with comprehensive knowledge of collateral management and settlement activity.
Responsible for enabling daily exchange of collateral (Cash or Securities) to reduce credit risk associated with Markets Trading activity.
Management of collateral disputes process
Coordination of collateral activity across internal departments including Onboarding, Risk, Operations and Finance.
Analyse issues to identify best solution, driving solution through to completion.
Provides advice on designing new processes and systems including supporting new product requests.
Support Group audit activity, including balance sheet substantiation.
Support and coach colleagues supporting the end to end collateral journey
Assist collateral response to Group incidents, including extraction and provision of MI to support wider Group response.
Ensure compliance with Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Role model LBG Values and Behaviours' within the role and the wider Collateral Management team.

Key Capabilities/Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of collateral management life cycle
In depth understanding of legal agreements underpinning the Collateral product
Capability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.

Business Insight, ability to leverage insights from market and overlay to understand potential impact on collateral management.
