Commercial Finance Manager Minnetonka, MN (Hybrid/Onsite)
We're partnering with a growing, product-focused organization to identify a Commercial Finance Manager. This role will lead financial planning and performance for a business unit and act as a key partner to commercial and operational leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the confidence to influence decisions and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full P&L for a business segment, including performance analysis and financial accountability
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with business leaders to align financial plans with operational goals
- Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and drive actions to improve financial performance
- Support pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives with data-driven insights
- Provide clear, actionable reporting on sales, margins, and key cost drivers
- Track and monitor KPIs to improve visibility, accountability, and results
- Partner cross-functionally on growth initiatives such as new products, market expansion, and key business decisions
- Conduct ROI analysis on investments and strategic initiatives
- Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or commercial finance
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Experience with ERP systems, planning tools, and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to translate financial data into business insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
