Senior HCM Analyst - (Compensation-Focused)
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Compensation Analyst to support and administer enterprise compensation programs, including the annual compensation planning cycle, merit increases, bonus programs, and ongoing compensation operations. This role will be responsible for managing compensation worksheets, maintaining Fast Formulas, supporting performance-to-compensation alignment, and ensuring the accurate execution of compensation changes within Oracle HCM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Oracle HCM Compensation module, a strong understanding of compensation processes and calculations, and the ability to partner with HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Finance, and business stakeholders. Experience with Fast Formulas is highly valued, as this individual will help maintain and enhance compensation business rules that drive planning and compensation decisions across the organization.
Location: Charlotte, NC: 4x/week onsite, 1x/week remote
Duration: 6 month contract with potential to convert
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonus programs, promotions, and pay adjustments.
- Administer and maintain Oracle HCM Compensation worksheets, ensuring accurate calculations, data integrity, and alignment with compensation guidelines.
- Manage the integration of performance review data from the Talent Management module and align employee performance ratings with corporate compensation matrices.
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Oracle HCM Fast Formulas that support compensation calculations, eligibility rules, budgets, and planning processes.
- Configure and support compensation plans, budgets, guidelines, and approval workflows within Oracle HCM.
- Execute compensation processes to write approved merit increases, promotions, and compensation changes back to the Core HR module.
- Generate, validate, and distribute employee total compensation statements following compensation cycle approvals.
- Perform monthly compensation administration activities, including budget tracking, compensation forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor compensation budgets and update forecasts to reflect promotions, transfers, and compensation changes throughout the year.
- Develop and maintain compensation reports, audits, and data validations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with HR, Compensation, Talent, Finance, and business leaders to resolve compensation-related issues and support compensation planning initiatives.
- Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations to improve process efficiency, data quality, and reporting capabilities.
- Support testing efforts, system enhancements, Oracle quarterly releases, and compensation-related projects.
- Maintain compensation spreadsheets and complex calculations used for planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting compensation programs and compensation administration.
- Hands-on experience with the Oracle HCM Compensation module.
- Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting Oracle HCM Fast Formulas.
- Strong understanding of compensation planning processes, including merit increases, bonus programs, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Experience working with compensation worksheets, budgets, and compensation calculations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management skills, including complex formulas and data analysis.
- Experience working with HR, Compensation, Talent Management, and Finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
