THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR COMPUTER TECHNICIAN

THE SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering excellent work-life balance and predictable hours.

YOUR ROLE:

In this Computer Technician role, your day begins at the bench, diagnosing hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, carefully uncovering root causes and performing precise repairs or upgrades that restore systems to optimal performance. You'll install and configure operating systems and applications, manage incoming repair tickets, and document every step clearly to ensure accuracy and accountability. Throughout the day, you'll assist walk-in customers at the front desk with device intake, communicate findings and expectations with confidence, and handle data backup, transfer, or recovery as needed. You'll keep your workspace clean and efficient, collaborate with fellow service team members to ensure smooth transitions between in-shop, field, and remote support, and occasionally head on-site to assist with hardware deployments, making every day both hands-on and rewarding.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems
• Ability to perform hardware repairs and upgrades such as RAM, storage, screens, and components
• Familiarity with software installation, system configuration, and basic networking concepts
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple repair tasks and prioritize effectively
• Professional and friendly customer interaction skills

Preferred qualifications include experience with iOS and Android devices.
