Our client a large blue-light public services organisation is seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst (Business Analyst skills) to join on a contract bases for an initial 3 months that is likely to extend.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Process Opportunity Project (a project set up to deliver the organisations goal of £1M pound in efficiency savings through process improvement). There is currently a pipeline of very small projects that are needing someone to own, run and deliver on.
Key responsibilities;
Identify areas of waste and inefficiency across the organisation by:
- Meeting stakeholders and SMEs at all levels and capturing their problem and goal statements via project charters
- Establishing key Critical to Quality (CTQ) metrics
Measuring current processes and capturing data to fully understand the time, effort and quality involved in the current processes by:
- Mapping "as is" processes
- Building data collection plans
- Identify and categorise activities into "value add", "non-value add" and "value enabling"
Conducting data analysis and intelligent visualisations to support identification of wasteful or inefficient activities
- Identifying root causes
- Establishing and confirming causal effects and results
Support the deployment and delivery of improvements by:
- Creating the "to be" process maps
- Writing business cases to support the delivery of potential solutions
- Capturing the potential benefits of different solutions
Supporting the delivery teams by:
- Providing input into comms plans and messages
- Supporting the creation or update of training materials
- Supporting the rollout of new solutions
- Completing the handover back to BAU
Qualifications/About you Proven experience working in continuous improvement
MUST have a Lean Six Sigma Certification in Green Belt Qualification
