Contract Principle Architect - £725 inside IR35 - London x3 dpw - 6 months

Exalt consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Principle Architect, this is paying £725 per day inside IR35, 3 days a week in London and initially 6 months.

Previous experience required for the role:

• Proven ability to design and deliver fault-tolerant, high-availability systems at enterprise scale - spanning cloud infrastructure, APIs, Front End and Back End stacks.
• Architecture domain breadth across at least one of: Enterprise, Solution, Data, Business, Infrastructure, Applications or Process architecture.
• A credible engineering coach - comfortable guiding teams on refactoring approaches, deployment pipelines, security practices and design-driven development.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to construct and defend multi-year investment cases and total cost of ownership models.
• Demonstrable record of cutting through complexity to align senior technical and business stakeholders around a shared direction.
• Genuine passion for emerging technologies and a track record of bringing innovative architectural thinking into practice.
• A developer mindset alongside leadership experience - fluent in modern engineering languages and toolchains across the full stack.
• Natural mentor who invests in team capability, psychological safety and a culture of honest, transparent collaboration.
