Contract Reporting Specialist - Jet Reports/Jet Hub

The Opportunity

A well-known UK membership organisation is seeking an experienced Contract Reporting Specialist with deep, hands-on expertise in the Jet Reports ecosystem (Insightsoftware) for a focused, short-term engagement.

You will work directly with a small internal team to diagnose, remediate, and optimise a defined set of business-critical reports that are currently underperforming - leaving behind clear documentation and best-practice guidance for the team to take forward.

You will be working alongside a parallel ETL & Data Platform Specialist, so the ability to collaborate across technical workstreams is important.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assess and remediate a defined set of non-performant Jet Reports across Jet Client (Excel add-in), Jet Pivot, and Jet Hub
• Engage with business reporting users to validate issues and confirm priorities
• Diagnose root causes of performance, reliability, and data issues - then implement and document the fixes
• Optimise scheduling and execution patterns within Jet Hub and across report delivery

What You'll Need

• Strong, demonstrable experience designing, optimising, and troubleshooting Jet Reports (Jet Client/Excel add-in and Jet Pivot)
• Hands-on experience administering and optimising Jet Hub - scheduling, delivery, and performance
• Good working knowledge of SQL Server and data retrieval/query performance
• Experience using Jet Data Warehouse and/or SSAS cubes as reporting data sources
• A solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV data structures
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in complex reporting environments
• Strong documentation skills - you leave things cleaner and clearer than you find them

The Working Arrangement

• 2 days per week (flexibility on structure discussed at offer stage)
• Hybrid - primarily remote with occasional on-site attendance in London
• Duration: 3-6 months initial contract; extension possible
• Start: ASAP
