Contract Solution Architect - Order Management System (OMS) TransformationOpus have exclusively partnered with one of our leading digital tech consultancies, who're currently supporting a global client with their urgent need to backfill a Solution Architect (on contract), due to recent departure from the business. Contract Details: Duration: 5 months (until the end of 2026)Pay Rate: Up to £450 per day, Inside IR35. Working Patterns: 1 day p/w in Milton Keynes office, 4 days working remotely Start Date: Immediate start Interview Structure: Up to 2 stages, initial screening with Head of Data over Teams, this week, with a possible final stage with end-client. Project Details: We require an experienced Solution Architect to support on a major enterprise transformation programme which is centred around the migration of a complex Order Management System (OMS). For this role, you'll need to have a strong track record in the delivery of solution architecture for large scale transformation with technical stakeholder management skills and the ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions. Core Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect to deliver complex (large-scale) transformation / migration programmes
• Strong integration Architecture experience (APIS, middleware, messaging and event-driven architectures).
• Experience designing and supporting complex data migration (including data quality, reconciliation, migration planning, operational readiness, hypercare etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication for complex programme environments, you'll come equipped with a broad understanding of application, data, infrastructure and security architecture

Desierable Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Involvement in OMS replacement or modernisation programmes of work
