Credentialing Specialist

Position Details:

Title: Credentialing Specialist

Location: Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens

Duration:2-month contract with possible extensions)

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Compensation:

Travel pay-$1,065/week

Local pay- $32/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Managing provider credentialing and re-credentialing activities

Ensuring timely physician license renewals prior to expiration

Maintaining and updating provider records with accuracy

Performing primary source verification

Utilizing credentialing databases, alerts, and reporting tools

Maintaining consistency in credentialing processes

Providing backup support to the credentialing team

Requirements:

Experience as a Credentialing Specialist in the healthcare industry

Bachelor's degree (required)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
