We are seeking an experienced D365 Solution Architect Applications & Data to support a short-term enterprise transformation engagement across core business applications, data platforms, and integrated enterprise systems. This is a functional role, not techy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture across enterprise applications and data domains, ensuring alignment with business strategy and target operating model
- Design and oversee D365-based solutions (Finance & Operations, CE, Power Platform) across integrated enterprise landscapes
- Define and govern application and integration architectures, ensuring consistency across ERP, CRM, and data platforms
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, deliverable solution designs
- Support the design of data architecture, governance frameworks, and reporting structures across enterprise systems
- Contribute to architecture governance, design authority forums, and solution assurance reviews
- Ensure solutions are aligned to cloud-first principles, SaaS adoption, and modern integration patterns
- Engage with vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teams to ensure coherent delivery of end-to-end solutions
- Support evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities (eg, Copilot, GenAI where relevant)
Experience
- Solution architecture and systems design experience
- Microsoft stack exposure (D365, Power Platform, M365 preferred)
- ERP implementation/integration experience
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
- Knowledge of data, governance, SaaS platforms, and emerging technologies (GenAI/Copilot)
