The Lead Data Analyst/Business Analyst works closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, acting as a key bridge between business intent and technical implementation by defining reporting requirements and translating them into clear data and API specifications for reporting APIs on ODS. The role requires strong data modelling skills to define canonical data models, event schemas, and reporting structures across Kafka/Flink streaming pipelines and MongoDB persistence. You will facilitate requirements gathering workshops to identify clear business needs, and then translate the requirements into technical designs through analysis of event driven data flows, definition of data mappings and lineage, and acceptance criteria including validation of data accuracy to ensure delivered APIs meet client, regulatory, and operational reporting needs.
