On behalf of AWE, we are looking for an HR Data Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based Hybrid in Reading.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes and supporting a large HR function with reliable insights and quality metrics.
You'll be working in a highly regulated, technical environment where accuracy, confidentiality and good communication are essential. The role blends HR reporting, HRIS support and hands on analysis to help the organisation understand its workforce data and make informed decisions.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
As an HR Data Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:
. Extract, analyse, interpret and report data to agreed service levels.
. Produce regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the business.
. Identify trends, risks and opportunities to support decision making.
. Use HR data, benchmarking and research to suggest improvements.
. Support HR projects and system changes, including UAT and process updates.
. Assist with the maintenance and continuous improvement of the HR Information System (HRIS).
. Ensure data quality and compliance while supporting the development of people management dashboards.
. Partner with HR teams and HRIS specialists to support communication and change activities across HR systems.
Essential:
. Experience in an HR or HR operations environment with exposure to HR data and systems (Workday, Oracle, SAP, SuccessFactors, iTrent, or similar).
. Strong analytical skills with confidence working with metrics and excellent Excel skills.
. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
. Good communication skills with the ability to present data clearly.
. Experience improving processes or supporting HR system enhancements.
Desirable:
. Experience creating dashboards (Power BI is a plus).
. Experience working in a secure, government or regulated environment.
. Understanding of HR policies, processes and data definitions.
