Data Analyst / Systems Analyst - Immediate Start!

MCS Group is working with an established and growing manufacturing company in County Down as they look for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Systems Analyst to support the implementation and optimisation of a new production and stock control system. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst or Systems Analyst who enjoys working with complex data, systems, and operational processes within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

• This Data Analyst / Systems Analyst will help to build out the data behind a new system so it can accurately manage components, inventory, and production schedules.
• You will work with large volumes of product and component data, and ensure that e.g. stock control data is accurate.
• This role will involve structuring data, importing information (often via Excel), creating and updating system records, and testing/validating that the system produces accurate outputs.
• You will work closely with a small technical team, and your role will have a wide impact across the business.

The Person

• Strong attention to detail and highly methodical working style
• Experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience working with large data-sets
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with MRP, ERP, or stock control systems would be preferable
• Experience with Sage 200 or similar systems would be advantageous
• Analytical mindset with an interest in data and systems

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm / Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Location: On-site in County Down
Duration: 6 months
Hourly Pay Rate: Negotiable DOE
