Pay: $180,000-$200,000/year

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus.

LevelUp Finance , an Array Company, is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to help lead our Data Insights Practice. The primary role will be to lead and manage data-driven consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SQL and Snowflake (or other data warehouse technology), with hands-on experience in common Business Intelligence (BI) applications. This role requires a strategic thinker who can deliver actionable insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and architect scalable data solutions for clients.

Job Description:


Data Architecture & Analysis:

  1. Design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures, with a focus on Snowflake and cloud-based solutions.
  2. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  3. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics.


Business Intelligence & Insights Delivery:

  1. Work with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create dashboards and reports that communicate insights effectively.
  2. Guide clients in leveraging BI applications to make data-driven decisions.
  3. Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations.


CRM Data Expertise:

  1. Work with CRM data (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to transform objects such as opportunities, leads, and accounts into ARR reporting and other SaaS-related metrics.
  2. Collaborate with clients to define and implement processes for aligning CRM data with financial metrics and business goals.
  3. Understand how subscription data, contracts, and customer lifecycle events from CRM systems contribute to revenue recognition and forecasting.


ERP Knowledge:

  1. Work with ERPs (preferably NetSuite) to extract, transform, and integrate financial and operational data into analytics workflows.
  2. Leverage ERP system knowledge to identify key data sources and optimize data integration strategies.
  3. Support clients in aligning ERP and CRM systems to streamline reporting and analytics.


Client Engagement & Project Management:

  1. Present solutions to non-technical clients as the technical lead on engagements.
  2. Understand client needs, define project scope, and deliver tailored data solutions.
  3. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed client expectations.


Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

  1. Provide thought leadership on data insights, best practices, and industry trends.
  2. Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.
  3. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.


Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities to improve data processes and analytics capabilities for clients.
  2. Stay updated on advancements in data technologies, particularly in SQL, Snowflake, and BI tools.


Position Requirements:

  1. Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehouse technologies.
  2. Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  3. Experience utilizing ETL and ELT processes for data transformation.
  4. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  5. Understanding of financial and recurring revenue reporting concepts.
  6. Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
