Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support a major transformation programme, with a particular focus on Customer Identity Resolution (CIR). This role requires someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, providing architectural leadership and hands-on guidance in a complex, evolving data landscape.

You will play a critical role in designing and enabling a unified view of the customer across multiple platforms and systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. While the environment includes technologies such as Salesforce and GCP, the primary requirement is a strong, well-rounded Data Architect with deep CIR experience and the ability to navigate both modern and Legacy ecosystems.

• Lead the design and implementation of Customer Identity Resolution (CIR) strategies and architectures
• Define approaches for matching, merging, and mastering customer data across disparate systems
• Develop data models and integration patterns to support a unified customer view
• Provide architectural oversight across data platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience
• Work closely with transformation teams to embed data architecture into broader programme delivery
• Assess existing data landscape, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Guide the integration of key systems, including Salesforce, GCP, incentive payments platforms, and Legacy technologies
• Establish data standards, governance principles, and best practices aligned with organizational goals
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions
• Support data quality, lineage, and metadata management initiatives

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect in complex enterprise environments
• Strong background in Customer Identity Resolution (CIR), including matching algorithms, survivorship rules, and golden record creation
• Experience designing data architectures that integrate multiple systems and data sources
• Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in ambiguous or fast-moving environments
• Strong understanding of data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Experience with data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming)
• Solid stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across business and technical teams

Desirable:

• Experience working with Salesforce data models and integrations
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services (eg, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub)
• Exposure to incentive payments or financial systems
• Experience working with Legacy system modernization and integration
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) tools and frameworks
