The Role
Our client is a well-established global organisation operating within the financial services sector. What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions, data models, dataflows and datamarts within an Azure-based data platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions that deliver meaningful insights and support decision-making.
• Develop and optimise ETL processes, ensuring data quality, integrity and efficient integration from multiple source systems.
• Collaborate with global data teams and stakeholders to monitor delivery progress, resolve issues and support successful project outcomes.
• Plan, execute and support system testing activities to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, documentation, change delivery and ongoing support of data solutions.

What you bring

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence delivery and data modelling, with advanced knowledge of DAX.
• Strong experience working with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake and Azure-based data platforms.
• Proven expertise in SQL, Oracle databases, ETL development, data integration and data modelling.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale or Big Data solutions, including translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD deployment practices and Agile development methodologies.
• Previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector, with Azure certifications (or willingness to obtain Azure Fundamentals and Azure Databricks certifications by year-end) highly desirable.
