Data Program Manager

Duration 3 months inside IR35, daily rate £540

2 days in office, 3 days WFH

Our client is looking for an all-round Programme Manager to join their Financial Services Data Programme team.

Beyond the typical PM responsibilities of Risk, Budget, plan, dependency Management, they are also looking for someone who can lead the team through ambiguity and demonstrate gravitas whilst also feeling comfortable to challenge others. A key focus would be on Agile and Product ways of working, utilising tools such as Jira and Working closely with the Technical Leads for various teams to track and manage programme progress.

What the Financial Services team does:

• We are building strategic reporting for financial services, by ingesting data into strategic data warehouse, to enable reporting across: bank, travel money, general insurance and to support the FS loyalty launch
• We are working with external partners to ingesting data in from our financial services partners; Bank, Travel Money and General Insurance Providers
• We are also working with numerous dependencies from interdependent programmes

The role will play a key role in:

• Having oversight of the activities and progress that each project team is making
• Tracking and managing delivery risks, issues and dependencies - helping to unblock key issues
• Work with technical leads, engineers, BA's/Product and architecture to ensure Jira and are updated
• Unpick, track and manage dependencies with external teams/projects
• Collaborating with Engineering manager and Product manager for maintaining a healthy backlog and complete sprint planning and overall planning activities
• Delivery reporting as part of Fortnightly governance and maintain risks and issues.
