Job Description - Data Warehouse Modernisation Architect
We are seeking an experienced data modernisation architect to support Legacy Data Exit programme.
Lead complex Legacy data warehouse migration and decommissioning initiatives.
Analyse Legacy data usage, dependencies, and consumption patterns across business and technology functions.
Define and execute migration strategies, including data validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
Manage parallel runs, live proving, and production readiness activities to ensure a seamless transition.
Collaborate with business, data, architecture, operations, and risk stakeholders to drive delivery outcomes.
Provide strong client-facing leadership, communicating effectively with senior executives and programme sponsors.
Facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups and manage competing priorities.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure robust migration execution and governance.
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms is required; Databricks experience is highly desirable.
Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise-scale data transformation programmes in regulated environments.
