Developer Middleware Integration III
Location: San Antonio, TX 78215 (Remote)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $60.57 per hour

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a Developer Middleware Integration III for a professional opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced integration developer with a strong background in designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise application integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with middleware platforms, J2EE application servers, API development, system performance monitoring, and troubleshooting mission-critical systems in a fast-paced technical environment.

Developer Middleware Integration III Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
  • Support and administer Application Integration platforms and middleware systems.
  • Manage and optimize J2EE Application Servers and integration environments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Build and support APIs (REST/SOAP) and data integration workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business units to deliver integration solutions.
  • Automate system administration tasks and scripting processes.
  • Maintain system security, connectivity, and data integrity across platforms.
  • Provide 24/7 support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Develop documentation for integrations, processes, and system architecture.

Developer Middleware Integration III Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in middleware/integration development.
  • Strong experience with enterprise integration tools such as:
    • IBM MQ, IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), MuleSoft.
    • Kafka, Active MQ, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat.
  • Experience with API development (REST, SOAP, WSDL, Swagger, RAML).
  • Programming experience in Java, SQL, or scripting (Shell, Perl, XSLT, DataWeave).
  • Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of cloud or distributed systems environments preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
