DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer | AWS | £450 - £525/day Outside IR35 | 6-Month Rolling Contract

SC Clearance Required
We re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with active SC Clearance to help transform and secure a large-scale AWS platform. This is an opportunity to modernise cloud infrastructure, strengthen security, improve CI/CD and drive DevOps best practice across the engineering function.

What you'll be doing

• Strengthening AWS security, networking and platform architecture.
• Modernising Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrating Legacy GitLab pipelines into Azure DevOps.
• Driving GitOps best practice with ArgoCD.
• Managing Kubernetes and Helm deployments.
• Implementing container image scanning, signing and security controls.
• Building CloudWatch monitoring and Grafana dashboards.
• Coaching DevOps and Infrastructure teams on engineering best practice.

What you'll bring

• Active SC Clearance (essential).
• Strong AWS and Terraform experience.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD experience.
• AWS networking and cloud security expertise.
• CloudWatch and Grafana monitoring experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor engineering teams.

The Contract

• £450 - £525 per day.
• Outside IR35
• 6-month rolling contract.
• Immediate start.
