Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Digital Product Manager for a 12 Month contract based in London (2 days per week).
The Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to lead the delivery of key digital products and initiatives. The role will focus on managing complex product deployments, improving customer-facing digital experiences, and delivering new features through Agile product teams.
You will work closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to manage product roadmaps, prioritise backlogs, and ensure successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the deployment of a large customer-facing digital product, including training, debugging, and post-launch feature delivery
Manage complex product initiatives from scoping through to launch
Own and prioritise the product backlog and roadmap
Work closely with stakeholders across the business and communicate product progress clearly
Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews
Identify opportunities to improve digital customer experiences using customer feedback and insights
Manage dependencies and escalate risks or blockers where neede
Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience:
5-8 years' experience in Product Management
Experience delivering complex digital product launches (day-one launch experience)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including customer-facing interaction
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Exposure to complex technical environments such as permissions migrations, audit logs, or system integrations
Comfortable working in a hands-on role within a small or lean team
