Digital Product Owner (Unsecured Lending)

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Digital Product Owner for a 8 Month contract due to run until December 2026, based in London (hybrid model).

Purpose of the Role:
The Digital Product Owner will support the delivery of web and personalisation vision within retail Banking, unsecured lending (credit cards and loans).

This role acts as the bridge between Marketing, Analytics, Technical and AI/LLM teams focused on building new capabilities to improve the customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Enhance the existing Front End management system to support marketing-led personalisation and content control.
• Analyse customer journeys and performance to build and prioritise new capabilities, delivering the digital personalisation roadmap.
• Work closely with Marketing, DNA (Analytics), CRO and delivery teams to shape and deliver digital experiences.
• Support experimentation, testing and optimisation activities across web and mobile.
• Collaborate with teams exploring AI, LLMs, chatbots, to shape future digital experiences.
• Act as a vital business-facing product owner, ensuring strong communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee both strategic direction and day-to-day delivery for enhancements and new features.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven Product Owner experience in Agile environments.
• Financial services experience required, ideally with lending product experience (credit cards/loans).
• Ability to develop business cases, shape ideas and translate them into delivery-ready requirements.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics (essential).
• Experience with Content Square (desirable).
• Hold an interest in emerging technologies such as AI, chatbots, and LLMs, exploring new digital capabilities.
• Hold a business-facing mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
