DV Network Engineer

DV Cleared Network Engineer
Initially until the end of March 2028, with extensions
Inside or IR35
2-3 days per week on site in the South West, with work from home

This role is based on a network engineer with proven experience, operating at CCNP level or above, current certification is not a requirement, but ability must be demonstrable.
The role delivers design refinement, implementation and test of network configurations with a focus on production of secure, repeatable solutions concurrent with producing supporting engineering documentation for all configuration elements.

Skills and Experience Required:
*Skills in Network Monitoring and Traffic Analysis to maintain performance, security, and service reliability.
*Strong experience with Hardware and Software Configuration, supporting efficient deployment and life cycle management.
*Competencies in producing Technical Documentation and knowledge sharing to enhance team knowledge and capability.
*Able to support Strategic Network Infrastructure Planning to drive long term improvement and resilience.
*Effective in Stakeholder Engagement and Communication, fostering trusted relationships across technical and non-technical groups.
*Proven experience in exploiting ESXi 8.0.3
*Proven experience in exploiting vSphere 8.0.3.

It is highly desirable to have demonstrable experience in:
*Cisco Nexus
*Cisco IOS XE
*Leaf and Spine network architecture
*VXLAN Overlay networks
*Dual Cloud Dual Hub DMVPN Solutions
*Layer 3 Multicast/PIM
*Firewall IPS/IDS
*AAA Management Platform eg ISE
