eDV Application Support Engineer

eDV Cleared Application Support Engineer | £500-£600p/day (Outside IR35) | Gloucestershire (5 days onsite) | Must have active eDV clearance | 6 months (rolling contract)

We're looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with active eDV clearance to join a collaborative onsite team responsible for designing, deploying and supporting infrastructure in a secure environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work across physical and virtual infrastructure.

This role is fully on site and you must be comfortable with this working arrangement!

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain resilient physical and virtual infrastructure
• Monitor system health, performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Ansible
• Provide technical consultancy on system integrations using REST APIs, SFTP, webhooks and other interfaces
• Manage the full life cycle of customer integrations, from implementation through to retirement

Key Skills:

• Active eDV clearance is essential
• Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in secure or complex environments
• Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV
• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous systems and integrations

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with API definitions: Swagger/Open API 3/Shell Scripting/Java/JavaScript/Python/Go
