Elastic AIOPS Engineer

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of an Elastic AIOPS Engineer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Sheffield offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience of OpenTelemetry specifications, SDKs, APIs, and instrumentation, hands-on experience with OTel agent and collector life cycle

Operating Systems: Linux and Windows administration

Observability Tools: Familiarity with Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, Loki, SigNoz

Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python, Go, or Java for API integration

Automation: Experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines

Additional Skills: Kafka, InfluxDB, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in observability, monitoring, or related domains, Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
