Adecco is hiring immediately for Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operators at Jabil in Memphis, TN. Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operators do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with rates starting at $22.00/hr., plus available overtime. As an Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Operator, you'll be responsible for assembling finished units according to customer specifications, performing wiring tasks such as pulling, crimping, installing, and testing harnesses, and replacing parts on tools as scheduled. You'll work closely with teammates on collaborative tasks and communicate with inventory personnel regarding spare parts, all while using manual and automated lifting devices in accordance with safety standards.

This position requires following detailed written or verbal instructions, standardized procedures, and selecting from established methods to complete tasks. You'll be expected to resolve routine issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary. Maintaining a clean and organized work area in line with 5S standards, adhering to all safety and health regulations, and complying with company security policies are key responsibilities. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support production goals.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm OR

Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-12:00am

Please note: Must be available to work overtime hours before or after shift, and Saturdays.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

1-2 years of relevant experience

Minimum one year of experience in electrical assembly

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to define issues, gather data, and draw valid conclusions

Proficient in using a personal computer and Windows-based software applications

Ability to read and interpret visual aids

Capable of understanding and following written instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across all units of measure

Ability to interpret graphs and diagrams accurately

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
