Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
TRS Staffing SolutionsWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with strong HV/LV expertise to join a project on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, control, and authorisation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.
Initial 6-12 month contract
Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV systems
Control, issue and manage permits to work and switching operations
Ensure safe isolation and energisation of electrical systems
Review and approve switching schedules and procedures
Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
Provide technical guidance and supervision to site personnel
Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out safely
Liaise with project teams, engineers, and contractors
Requirements
Qualifications
City & Guilds Accredited High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons Course (essential)
Experience
Proven experience working as an SAP on HV/LV systems
Strong background in electrical operations and switching
Experience working on EPCM projects
