Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, production machinery, and building infrastructure. This role supports preventative and predictive maintenance programs, capital projects, and equipment installations to ensure minimal downtime while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
The Maintenance Technician works proactively to support production demands and maintain facility systems while collaborating closely with other maintenance technicians and skilled trades.
Essential Job Duties
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building infrastructure to prevent or minimize downtime
  • Support the setup, installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and components
  • Dismantle and remove obsolete equipment or components as required
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for equipment and facilities
  • Set up and operate shop equipment, including performing operational maintenance on wastewater treatment equipment
  • Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes to increase uptime, efficiency, and quality
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper repair, installation, and operation of equipment and facility systems
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well?organized work environment
  • Support and enforce a strong safety culture by following all safety rules and reporting incidents and near misses
  • Support ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (EH&S) Management System requirements and processes
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or equivalent combination of schooling and experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial diagnostic/testing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Proven ability to design, plan, and execute equipment installations
  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Welding and fabrication skills required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
