Adecco is hiring for an Electromechanical Assembler on 1st shift in Peabody, MA! This is a temp to perm opportunity. Pay rate: $23-25 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Assemble mechanical units, position parts, and fasten components to frames, subassemblies, or housings.
- Wiring & Soldering: Install cables, harnesses, and electrical components, including soldering electrical connections.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings to determine technical procedures.
- Testing & Calibration: Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot assembled units to ensure they meet specifications, using tools like multimeters or calipers.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for defects, measure dimensions, and verify tolerances.
- Maintenance: Lubricate or clean parts and maintain equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, or a related role is required.
- Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination for handling small, intricate components.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using hand tools, torque tools, soldering irons, and electrical testing equipment.
- Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods, sit for extended periods, and lift heavy parts (often up to 50 lbs).

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
