Key Responsibilities
- Define and own enterprise-wide ServiceNow architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Lead architecture governance across ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Design scalable, secure, and reusable platform solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Translate business and operational requirements into end-to-end technical architectures.
- Provide architectural leadership across ServiceNow modules including:
- ITSM
- ITOM
- CMDB
- SecOps
- HRSD
- IRM/GRC
- CSM
- Define integration architecture with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and Legacy applications.
- Establish governance frameworks, design standards, and best practices for the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure alignment with government and GDS standards.
- Support programme delivery teams through architecture reviews, technical assurance, and solution governance.
- Drive platform optimisation, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to influence strategic decisions.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Lead ServiceNow Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture and ecosystem.
- Experience delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions within government or regulated sectors.
- Strong understanding of:
- Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred)
- Cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
- ITIL practices
- API and integration design
- Security and compliance architecture
- Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow governance, CMDB, data models, workflows, and platform scalability.
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability.
- Experience working within complex multi-supplier environments.
