Our client, a leading organization in the heavy equipment manufacturing industry, is seeking an Excel Data Analyst to support their Product Compliance team.
This role is ideal for early-career professionals with strong Excel and analytical skills who are interested in working with product data, regulatory requirements, and global operations. The position focuses on analyzing and organizing material-related data to ensure compliance across international markets.
Additional Details
- Duration: 24-month contract
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Travel: Minimal
- Interview Process: One round (virtual)
- Pay rate $18 hr
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large datasets related to product materials and specifications
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation) to organize and validate data
- Review product and material information to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements
- Track and manage compliance-related customer requests and documentation
- Support internal systems and tools by providing data input and process feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to gather and verify required information
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple tasks and priorities
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (required)
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, operations, or similar roles or recent graduate candidates
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently after training and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering-related environments
- Familiarity with mechanical drawings or technical documentation
- Exposure to compliance, regulatory, or quality processes
- Experience working with databases or data management tools
