Administrative Assistant - Finance
Seeking Administrative Assistant to support the Finance Department through clerical, financial, and organizational tasks. $ 21 hr - Temp-to-Hire - 4 days - 35 hrs
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support including phone coverage, mail processing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
• Support payroll processing and financial data entry.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with reports and audits.
• Coordinate and support Board Meetings.
• Respond to inquiries from staff, vendors, residents, and external partners.
• Perform general office duties and provide back-up support to other administrative staff.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years administrative experience.
• Basic accounting knowledge preferred; public-sector experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and office technology.
• Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
Location - Danbury, CT - in-office only
Hours - 7:45am - 5:30pm - 35 hrs
Days - Monday - Thursdays - closed on Fridays

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
