About the Role
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Finance Administrator to join our growing team on a maternity cover contract for a minimum of 6 months.
This is an exciting time to join the business as we continue to expand across Ireland and invest in our people, systems and operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial administration and contributing to the smooth running of the business.
This role is part-time, working 21 hours per week, with flexibility around working days and hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: posting supplier invoices onto QuickBooks and matching invoices to purchase orders where applicable.
- Bank Reconciliations: posting bank transactions and completing reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Accounts Receivable: posting receipts through the bank, ensuring payments are matched against invoices and maintaining reconciled control accounts.
- Payroll Administration: managing labour cost sheets and supporting payroll processes.
- Credit Card Reconciliations: posting and reconciling company credit card transactions within QuickBooks.
- Maintaining debtor and creditor control accounts.
- Liaising with internal accountants and supporting all finance-related requirements.
- Providing general finance and administrative support to the wider business as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a finance administration, accounts assistant or bookkeeping role.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
