Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance AssistantLocation: Near Maidstone (must be able to drive)Salary: £25,000 (full-time) with part-time potential (pro rata)About the Company We are a well-established, family-run business based near Maidstone, known for our supportive team environment and strong values. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team and hit the ground running.The Role This is a hands-on finance role focused on detailed transactional work. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy across invoices, supplier quotes, and remittances, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity.Key Responsibilities

• Cross-checking invoices against supplier quotes and remittances
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Communicating with suppliers and internal teams where required

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience as a Finance Assistant (or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong accuracy skills
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive with a methodical approach to work
• Must be able to drive due to location
