Finance Change Manager - London - Asset Management

We are working with a leading Asset Manager who are undergoing a significant period of transformation within their Finance function. They are seeking an experienced Finance Change Manager to support a high-profile programme alongside core financial reporting responsibilities.

This is a broad and hands-on role, combining change delivery with day-to-day finance support, ideal for someone who is comfortable operating across both project and BAU environments

You will play a key role in supporting Finance through the setup of a new legal entity structure, ensuring that financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks are designed, implemented, and Embedded effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Change & Transformation

• Support delivery of a major Finance-led transformation programme, including the setup of a new management company
• Capture and translate business requirements into clear Finance process designs
• Map end-to-end processes, including data flows, system interactions, controls, and reporting outputs
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across functions
• Support testing phases and ensure readiness for implementation
• Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions

BAU Finance Support

• Provide hands-on support across Financial Reporting & Control
• Assist with statutory reporting, capital calculations, and regulatory outputs
• Maintain and enhance financial control processes and documentation
• Ensure integrity of ledger and sub-ledger data

Process Improvement & Controls

• Identify and deliver improvements across Finance processes
• Reduce manual effort through automation and optimisation
• Strengthen the financial control framework and ensure robust documentation
• Ensure all new processes and controls are clearly defined and Embedded

Experience Required

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong experience within asset or investment management
• Proven track record delivering Finance change initiatives
• Experience across financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and control
• Ability to operate across both project delivery and BAU finance environments
• Strong understanding of finance systems, data flows, and legal entity structures
• Advanced Excel skills
