Location:London College-based (Further Education)

Rate: £300 per day

Contract: Temporary / Interim

We are currently seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to support a Further Education College on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an experienced interim accountant with a strong understanding of FE finance and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with FE sector regulations and funding requirements
• Assist with audits and liaison with external auditors
• Review and strengthen financial controls and processes
• Provide technical accounting support to the wider finance team

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous Further Education experience essential, preferably within a college environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, interim setting
• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
