FINANCIAL ANALYST

$70,000-$90,000 (depending on experience)

Financial Analyst Responsibilities - Review and analyze financial and budget reports to identify trends and variances
- The Financial Analyst will develop and manage budgets for 8 programs and 5 departments
- Build and maintain budget and reporting models within Solver and Sage
- The Financial Analyst will aggregate, audit, and quality check data from multiple systems including billing and payroll platforms
- Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Assist with budget roll-forwards, troubleshooting, and process improvements
- The Financial Analyst will provide ad hoc analysis, project support, and quality control
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst Role - 3-5 years of FP&A, budgeting, or financial analysis experience
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience working with accounting/financial systems (Sage, Solver, or similar)
- Ability to analyze, reconcile, and validate large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, communicative, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Analyst Role - Experience in nonprofit, human services, or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with medical billing or state funding
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
