A growing financial institution in Seneca is hiring a Financial Services Specialist to support daily operations, account management, and customer interactions related to financial accounts. This role is best suited for candidates with prior banking, lending, or accounting support experience who are comfortable handling financial data and working in a detail-driven environment.
In this position, you will assist with payment processing, follow up on outstanding balances, and communicate directly with customers regarding account activity. You will review and update financial records, ensure accuracy in documentation, and support compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate financial systems, and confidence working with numbers and account-level data throughout the day.
You will also handle inbound and outbound calls, but the focus is on resolving account-specific issues, supporting loan servicing functions, and maintaining accurate financial records rather than general customer service. Candidates who have worked as bank tellers, loan processors, or in accounting support roles will find this position closely aligned with their experience.
Requirements
-Previous experience in banking, loan servicing, lending operations, or accounting support
-Strong comfort working with financial data, transactions, and account reconciliation
-Ability to communicate clearly with customers regarding account details and payment activity
-Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping skills
-Proficiency with computer systems and financial or loan servicing platforms preferred
