Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing Location: Lowell, MA

Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000
About the Role We are seeking a hands-on
Production Supervisor to lead daily operations during their assigned shift at our food manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality, and fostering a safe, productive team environment.

What You'll Do- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and customer demand
- Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met
- Ensure all products meet company standards and regulatory food safety requirements
- Partner with Quality Assurance to quickly resolve quality or food safety issues
- Enforce compliance with OSHA, HACCP, GMPs, and other safety and food regulations
- Monitor production metrics, analyze performance, and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment issues and support preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate shift documentation including production reports and incident logs
- Communicate effectively with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth handoffs
- Address staffing challenges, production delays, and operational concerns as they arise
- Meet eligibility requirements to apply for a special license to operate facility boilers
What We're Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and OSHA standards (preferred)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Physical & Work Environment Requirements- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable working around moving machinery
- Ability to work in hot, cold, humid, or steamy environments
- Exposure to food allergens, dust, and gas may occur

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per hour
