Full Stack Developer - Telco

Location: Reading - 1 day per week onsite (rest remote)
Contract: 3-6 months initially with the view to extend
Rate: £550 per day (Outside IR35)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a telecommunications client, working across modern Front End and Back End technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. You will take ownership of requirements from brief through to delivery, producing well-structured code while collaborating with the wider development team.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript in production environments.
• Solid Back End development experience using Python.
• Experience building and working with REST APIs (FastAPI preferred).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design, and architecture.
• Experience delivering AI solutions.
• Ability to work independently from a brief while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Front End and Back End applications using React and Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Take ownership of features from initial brief through to delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Apply best practices in software design, architecture, and code quality.
• Contribute to AI-related solution development where required.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
